Graham Showell River Lark Catchment Partnership

The River Lark Catchment Partnership (RLCP) is working with a range of stakeholders to assess the declining condition of the River Lark, stretching from upstream of Bury St Edmunds to Mildenhall, including its key tributaries. The aim is to better understand the pressures facing the river and explore coordinated ways to improve its health and resilience.

From waterways management to wildlife protection, our rivers need support if they are to thrive. Instead of working in isolation, RLCP brings together partners to share resources, expertise, and local knowledge. The partnership includes government bodies, charitable organisations, voluntary groups, and other local stakeholders—each contributing their unique strengths to help protect and sustain this vital East Anglian waterway.
